At Höegh Autoliners, our Maritime Trainees are tomorrow’s leaders – are you ready for the challenge?

Are you looking to develop an international career in the maritime industry and gain experience in a global shipping company?  If so, we want to hear from you!

The Maritime Trainee Program, organised in conjunction with the Norwegian Shipowners' Association, is a 18-month program combining on-the-job learning through rotational assignments with an academic program consisting of five modules held at different locations across the globe.

The program will provide you with experience in different roles so that you can gain a better understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of our business, as well as find out where your key strengths and interests lie. You will also be allocated a mentor who will help you develop your career over the course of the program.

The program will last for 18 months. You will be offered a permanent position with us from day one, moving into a suitable role at one of our offices once the trainee program has ended.
